Signing up for Xelean is quick and easy. Currently, it’s based on an invitation system. Simply visit our homepage and request an invite, which is entirely free. Just provide your name and email address. Once a spot becomes available, you’ll receive an email with your login details.
Currently, Xelean works with .xls, .xlsx, and .csv files. You can also upload a .zip file if it contains only files in such formats. We’re always expanding the files you can import into Xelean.
Threads are the main mode of operating in Xelean. Each file you upload is represented in the Workspace as an icon with four connectors, two vertical and two horizontal. Joining the vertical connectors of two files (thus creating a thread) means combining them and generating a third file which sums the data from the original files. Joining the horizontal connectors (horizontal thread) allows you to relate specific columns of the two original files: when generating the new file, you can tell Xelean what kind of information you want to obtain from the pairing.
